The Costa del sol has caught the attention of many international hotel investors and developers of late due to its favourable location and booming tourist industry.
The latest company looking to get in on the act is Greek group Ikos Resorts, who are investing €150 million in creating a luxury all-inclusive hotel in Estepona.
The company has acquired the Costa del Sol Princess Hotel in Estepona which will be transformed to include 400 luxury rooms, eight restaurants, sports and leisure facilities as well as a theatre. The resort is located alongside 14,000 metres of beautiful beach and will be open May 2020, reports Travel Weekly.

“We are therefore excited to introduce our unique all-inclusive experience and the amazing Infinite Lifestyle promise to Spain by transforming the existing property within the sustainable framework of Ikos Green”, he said.
Estepona has undergone a significant transformation over the past decade with the development of the ‘New Golden Mile’ offering luxury apartments for sale in key beachside and hillside locations. One of the recent developments attracting investor interest is this new residence located right in the heart of Estepona, these units are selling fast due to their unique location, beautiful views and close proximity to the beach and amenities.
